Actress and BJP leader Kangana Ranaut sparked controversy with her recent remarks on Pakistan following cross-border drone attacks in India. Taking to Instagram, Ranaut referred to Pakistan as a “nasty nation full of terrorists” and declared it should be “wiped out from the world map.”
Her comments came in the wake of drone strikes on May 8 that hit multiple locations, including Jammu, Samba, Satwari, Udhampur (J&K), Amritsar and Jalandhar (Punjab), and Bikaner and Jaisalmer (Rajasthan). Sharing a WION report that highlighted Pakistan’s alleged involvement in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack—which killed 26 tourists—Ranaut wrote, “Bloody cockroaches… creepy, nasty nation full of terrorists… should be wiped out from the world map only.”
Earlier, Ranaut had praised India’s 2018 S-400 air defense agreement with Russia, calling it a “game-changer.” She shared videos of the S-400 system—referred to as “Sudarshan Chakra”—reportedly in action near Amritsar and claimed it played a key role in neutralizing the May 8 drone attacks. In her post, she wrote, “India’s S-400 in action near Amritsar” and lauded the system as one of the world’s most powerful defense technologies.
